Courtney Daniels
Courtney Daniels founded Busted Buggy Entertainment in 2010. Courtney’s love of storytelling as an actress is the driving force behind the company’s development of projects that are female driven. While acting is her first and foremost passion, she is also an accomplished writer and producer. Her first development/writing piece was a webseries that co-starred Dave Foley and herself which appeared on Funny or Die. Courtney’s first feature film as a producer (in which she appeared as well), THE GIRL IN THE BOOK was named a New York Times Critic’s Pick and is currently available on Netflix and most VOD platforms.
As an actress, Courtney is classically trained via the prestigious British American Drama Academy (in Oxford, UK). While she brings a strong dramatic presence, she is also comically inclined (having trained at the famous UCB) and found her first female-lead role in the family comedy, RESCUE DOGS (2016) which has lead to her appearance on more than 20 morning and news shows across the country this year. She is a regular guest on podcasts and in print interviews about storytelling, acting, producing, and successful women in entertainment.
